Biography
Randy Hyun joined Altruix in 2026 as Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across healthcare services, pharmacy, managed care, and technology-enabled healthcare solutions. In his role, Randy is responsible for leading the company’s overall strategy, operations, growth initiatives, and commitment to delivering specialized pharmacy services that improve outcomes for the individuals and providers Altruix serves.
Prior to joining Altruix, Randy served as an Executive in Residence at Frazier Healthcare Partners. Before that, he was President of Evernorth Health Systems, where he led a portfolio of technology-enabled services supporting health systems, providers, and patients, including drug distribution, 340B solutions, specialty pharmacy, and infusion services. Earlier, Randy served as Chief Executive Officer of CarepathRx, where he guided the organization through significant growth and expansion while supporting health systems, hospitals, physicians, and pharmacies nationwide. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing enterprise strategy and execution across the organization.
Earlier in his career, Randy served as Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Medicaid and as President of Aetna Pharmacy Management, where he was responsible for Aetna’s pharmacy benefit management and specialty pharmacy businesses. Prior to Aetna, he spent nearly two decades with McKesson Corporation in a variety of senior leadership roles spanning strategy, business development, operations, specialty healthcare, and healthcare technology.
Randy earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
