Columbus, OH (July 23, 2024) – I Am Boundless, Inc. (Boundless), the largest nonprofit in Ohio serving those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and behavior health challenges is dedicated to providing person-centered care. Boundless is thrilled to announce a new partner – Altruix pharmacy. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, July 23 at 3:15 p.m. at Boundless’ Worthington campus.
The addition of Altruix’s expertise in behavioral health and I/DD is a benefit for Boundless clients who can rely on knowledgeable staff and high-quality, best-in-class service. Offering flexible and free delivery options, ensuring medications are available when needed and providing financial assistance for prescriptions to alleviate cost concerns are the first of many Altruix offerings.
“The collaboration between I Am Boundless and Altruix will provide a new pharmacy experience to Boundless clients. By integrating our pharmacy services within the clinic, we are able to offer seamless person-centered care, helping individuals access all their medications quickly and adhere to their treatment plans. We look forward to the positive impact this partnership will have on health outcomes. Together with I Am Boundless, we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare,” said Greg Ganse, Altruix CEO.
Head Pharmacist, Ryan Riley, is an Ohio native and brings a wealth of experience and skill to Altruix. Earning a Bachelor’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from The Ohio State University, he specializes in diabetes education and testing, medication therapy management, immunization and long-acting injectables. His 15-year career in pharmacy management, particularly in behavioral health, aligns perfectly with Boundless’ values.
“The new pharmacy ensures that patients have convenient access to their medications, minimizing delays and making it easier to adhere to prescribed treatments. Patients can now obtain their medications immediately after their appointments in the clinic. With extensive experience in serving our patient population, our pharmacy team is well-equipped to address unique needs and provide tailored care to our patients living in our residential homes and will be valuable resource to our staff there as well,” said Katie Babcock, director of healthcare operations, Boundless.
Boundless is excited about the launch of Altruix Pharmacy and celebrates its continued commitment to improving the health and well-being of local communities. By supporting Altruix, you are not only receiving exceptional pharmacy services but also contributing to Boundless’ mission of creating a world that realizes the boundless potential of all people and working together to ensure that every individual has access to the health care they deserve.
